A living room that is really one

Two sofas at an angle, a low table and translucent glass screens separating the bedroom from the bathroom. It is not a corner with an armchair: it is a room in its own right, which is why this villa can be lived in by day without the bed in sight.

The exposed-brick alcove at the back belongs to the whole house: the same bricks that close the garden come indoors and serve as an open wardrobe. It is what separates these villas from a large room with a terrace.

Two basins carved in stone

A marble counter, two basins carved from stone and a mirror running wall to wall. With four people inside, the second basin is not there for show: it is the difference between leaving together and leaving in shifts.

The shower is behind, the bath beside it. It is the same stone bathroom the beachfront villas have, in a room type that does not face the sea.
