Every hotel keeps its own name.
We don't build a chain. We bring together hotels that already had something to say.
MONEA is the seal that binds them
MONEA is a natural-luxury hotel chain that draws together experience, culture and growth across distinct destinations around the world. Le Belhamy is still Le Belhamy. The Nest is still The Nest. Royal Mónica is still Royal Mónica.
Each property keeps its name, its architecture, its team and its story. MONEA is the seal that binds them — a shared commitment to the cuisine of the place, the materials of the place and the people of the place.
MONEA is not a hotel. It is a shared DNA: local materials, market cooking, an arrival ritual, silence as an amenity.
Six things that sign us.
No matter the destination. No matter the size of the hotel. Every MONEA property signs up to these six commitments — they are the condition of entry to the chain, not an extra.
Materials of the place
Woven palm in Zanzibar, linen and silk in Vietnam, microcement and lime in Lanzarote. Furniture from local cooperatives — Stone Town, Bagamoyo, Bát Tràng. Nothing off an international catalogue.
A kitchen signed by the hotel's chef
Every hotel has a kitchen with its own name and its own menu. Faifo Restaurant at MONEA Le Belhamy, the chef's menu at MONEA The Nest, Chef Carmen at MONEA Royal Mónica. Local produce, recipes of the place, no chain menu.
A local team with names of their own
An African team in Zanzibar, Vietnamese in Hội An, Canarian in Lanzarote. No corporate rotation from country to country — the people who welcome you were born near the hotel.
A welcome with your name
No mechanical check-in. There is a welcome cocktail of the destination — spices in Zanzibar, lemongrass in Vietnam, malvasía in Lanzarote — and a tour of your room with the person who makes it for you.
Real access to the destination
A sunrise market with the chef, volcanic vineyards with the sommelier, a pilau or phở cooking class, tailoring in Hội An, a dhow at sunset. The hotel is the door, not the wall.
Every hotel honest about what it is
A holiday resort isn't sold as an auteur boutique. A boutique isn't reduced to a «small resort». Royal Mónica is a family holiday resort, and proud of it. The Nest is a boutique, and proud of it. Every hotel knows what it is.
«If a hotel won't sign up to these six, it doesn't join MONEA.»
We don't call arrival check-in.
We call it a welcome. We don't call the team «service»: we call them by their names. We don't call the rooms «rooms» — they have their own.
A MONEA hotel is the bread that comes out at five in the morning at MONEA The Nest. The calm of Hà My Beach when the guests of MONEA Le Belhamy return from Hội An at dusk. The malvasía Carmen keeps for someone who'll appreciate it at MONEA Royal Mónica. It's what it does, not what it sells.
— With love, The Manager.
