Just enough, done well
Ground floor and a sliding door that opens right across onto the terrace: the lava-gravel garden begins where the room ends, with a Canary palm throwing shade by mid-afternoon. A double bed, a bedside table, and the trade wind coming in the moment the glass is drawn back.
This is the room for someone who heads out at nine and comes back at sunset. The Papagayo coves are ten minutes away and Timanfaya thirty: here you sleep, change your swimsuit and head out again.

More fits in than it looks from the door
A wardrobe, a desk, a sofa by the window and room for two open suitcases at once. The air conditioning is quiet, which in a resort in August is no small thing.
A full bathroom with a shower, and the terrace doing duty as a second room once the sun drops: two chairs, a table and the sound of the pool arriving from a distance.
