1. Data controller
VENEGAS 90.0, S.L. (the company operating the MONEA Hotels & Resorts brand), with VAT/Tax ID B76010032 and registered office at Calle Doctor Verneau, 1, Oficina 108, 35001 Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Data protection contact: legal@monea.com.
2. What data we process
We process the data you provide through our contact and booking enquiry forms: name, email, telephone (optional), hotel or destination of interest, dates and number of guests, and the content of your message. We also process browsing data if you accept analytics or marketing cookies (see Cookie Policy).
3. For what purpose
To respond to your enquiry, direct you to the relevant MONEA hotel, manage your potential booking and —if you consent— measure use of the site and show you relevant offers. We do not carry out automated decision-making with legal effects.
4. Legal basis
- Consent: the consent you give when submitting the form and when accepting analytics or marketing cookies.
- Performance of a contract: the management of your booking.
- Legitimate interest: site security and the handling of enquiries.
5. Retention
We retain your data for as long as necessary to handle your request and, if you make a booking, for the applicable statutory periods (tax and tourism legislation). Afterwards, the data is deleted or anonymised.
6. Recipients
We do not disclose your data to third parties except where required by law or in order to provide the booking service (booking engine and channel manager). Where an enquiry relates to a specific hotel in the chain, the data is shared internally with the relevant MONEA establishment in order to handle it. Technology providers (analytics, hosting, booking engine) act as data processors under contractual safeguards.
7. International transfers
If you accept analytics or marketing cookies, certain providers (Google, Microsoft, Meta) may process data outside the European Economic Area under the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Likewise, some hotels in the chain operate outside the EEA (Zanzibar, Vietnam); processing carried out by those establishments is performed with the appropriate safeguards.
8. Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to legal@monea.com, stating the right you wish to exercise and enclosing a copy of an identity document.
9. Complaints
If you consider that the processing does not comply with the applicable regulations, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, AEPD).
10. Security
We apply technical and organisational measures (HTTPS encryption, access control, data minimisation) to protect your information against unauthorised access.
