Tree House — The Nest
TREE HOUSE · THE FLAGSHIP · PAJE BEACH

A house among the treetops.

70 m² across two levels among the palms: a raised master bedroom with a canopy bed and a window onto the treetops, plus a private rooftop terrace above; an open-air lounge with its own pool and exclusive garden below.

A room that isn't a room. It's a piece of architecture.

The Tree House at The Nest is the most singular property in the MONEA portfolio. Two levels built among living palms: the woven-palm roof is held up by the trees' own living trunks. Above, the master bedroom with a canopied King bed, a window thrown open to the treetops and a private rooftop terrace to sunbathe or sleep beneath the stars. Below, an open-air lounge with an exclusive pool and a garden of its own. No other hotel in the portfolio has anything like it.

— WHAT IT LEAVES YOU

“We slept under the canopy with the mosquito net open, because up there, in the crowns of the palms, not a single mosquito gets in. Only wind off the Indian Ocean.”

Interior detail

The bedroom is in the treetops. That's not a metaphor.

The structure rises some seven metres off the ground, held up by real palm trunks. The master bedroom sits at the level of the fronds — from the bed you watch the palms sway in the night wind. The 3.5-metre panoramic window opens fully, with no glass. The canopy over the bed is structural, not decorative: the mosquito net is drawn at 19:00 with the turn-down service. In the morning, the birds of the Nest Village arrive at the sill.

You climb to the rooftop terrace by an internal staircase. Above: a wooden platform with two loungers, a low table for breakfast, open to the sky. Guests who stay more than three nights sleep up here at least once. The stars over Paje Beach carry no light pollution.

— Underhouse pool & garden lounge. For the guests of this tree house alone.

A pool and garden for you alone.

On the ground floor of the Tree House there's an open-air lounge with sofas of palm and local wood, a pool that's small but ample enough to cool off in, and a private garden hedged in by living foliage. No other guest at The Nest has access here. It's the space where people take breakfast in a dressing gown, read all morning, or work from the sofa if they come as creators or digital nomads.

The hotel team respects the space. Housekeeping comes when you ask. The private VIP Nest dinner can be served here too, if you'd rather not move. The quiet is guarded: no one interrupts you without reason.
